My baby girl is getting so big! She'll be heading into the first grade next year. There are so many things that make this little girl very lovable. She has such a great personality it's contagious. She is always making us smile. Some of our most memorable family times are sitting around the lving room while she does something fun and new to make us laugh. Maddy has such a positive spirit I am definitely blessed to be her Mom and to have her as part of out family. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!
As another Easter is upon us I can't help but to ponder the blessings I have been given. I am so thankful for all of my many blessings. I am so thankful to be part of the church, I am thankful to have a supportive family, I am thankful for my calling, I am thankful for my obedient children and I am impressed by thier diligence and faithfulness. I am also so very thankful for my wonderful husband, the worthy priesthood holder he is, he is a great father and provider for our family. He is a great friend and example to me, I couldn't ask for a better partner. My heart is definitely full!!
After church and pictures I sent my kids up stairs to change out of thier Easter clothes. I came upstairs a bit later to find this....... Maddalyn sitting in her Easter clothes, in her shoe box, holding her stuffed bunny, and eating her chocolate bunny. I thought it was pretty cute!!
Gavin has been in Scouts for only 4 months. He has already gotten his Bobcat. We just went to support him at his first Blue and Gold Banquet. The boys did skits, then we just enjoyed some good company and good food. My little man is growing up so fast!!!
Gavin started soccer for the first time this spring he is very excited. He has only had a few practices but he is ready and raring to go!
After practice the kids were fooling around on the trampoline and enjoying the sun. I cherish these moments, my kids getting along, playing together, no bickering.........I had to document it!
So Blayne spoiled me this year and we went top Seattle for Valentine's Day weekend. We spent the first night in Olympia with Jesse and Crystal Martin. Crystal and I got up Saturday morning, went to her salon and she did my hair. It was fabulous. Jesse and Blayne were forsced to go to Cabela's while we were gone. They hated every minute of it!! So Saturday evening we were Seattle bound!
We spent the first evening on the waterfront. It got really cold, really quick! We went to Ivar's for dinner. Fabulous fish and chips! After we got some hot ciders from Starbucks it was back to the hotel for us. The next day we went sight seeing. Blayne really wanted to find the Troll under the bridge. We also went to the Seattle art museum, and we spent several hours at Pike's Place Market.
After a fun filled day and tons of great food we headed home to our kiddos. Thanks to Chelsea and Kristin they were all in one piece when we got home.
Well, it's finally here! Gavin is now of age, Scouts has now been introduced. We attended our first Derby this year. Gavin and Blayne put in the work and it paid off. He took 2 awards, one for best paint job and the he took 2nd place overall for fastest car. He was so pleased as was his proud Daddy!
Being the snow family we are we take every chance we can to go play in it! We took the kids up to White River with some friends. We made our own trails and were on our way.
We are blessed to live in such a beautiful area!
Speaking of blessings....we have had the chance to watch baby Auron one day a week while his parents work. We have enjoyed having him at our home greatly. He is such a sweet boy!
Blayne and I have been married for 15 years! With three GREAT kids keeping us busy. Victoria 11 and is in the 6th grade, Gavin is almost 8, a 3rd grader and is a busy boy, Maddy is 6, in 1st grade and is showing us we had it easy with the first two. We are currently living in Sandy, OR. Blayne's childhood town. Life seems to be going so fast, we are excited to see what it has in store for us, there is nothing better then looking forward to doing it together!
