During one of the Moore's visits this summer I got these candid shots of Maddy and Delaney having a noodle fight on the trampoline. It was hilarious to watch, they looked like they were having a blast and surprisingly neither of them got hurt.

Some Summer Fun!

Since the weather has been so hot lately we decided to purchase a small pool. The kids have been living in it and enjoying every minute of it. We had My sister Aleesa and her boys come over and spend the day at our house. With our pool and her snow cone maker I think were successfull at escaping the heat.

Later the same day the Nielsen's came over to play in the pool and have dinner before they took off for dental school. We got great use out of our pool today!!

4th of July - Blayne's Birthday

So I was an awful wife this year! I left the 4th of July pictures up a friend that attended Blayne's party. I know they exist but I don't have any of my own. So prior to going to bed at midnight that night I had Ashley take picture of Blayne and I to document his birthday this year. Don't judge me!

Zoo trip with the Martins

Ashley and her kids came over from Prineville for 4th of July week. We made a trip to the

zoo while she was here. It was a great day for it, not too hot and no rain!

Getting a picture in the eagles nest is a "have to" for every trip to the zoo.

Wildwood Park

Our family has made several trips to Wildwood Park in Welches. I would say it is one of Blayne's favorite local parks. There is lots to do there. So we spent another day at the park. Packed our lunch and had a picnic. We played some baseball, some soccer, and just had fun!

As much fun as all this is, it is very tiring too! Somedays we play all day then we come home my kids are just plain exhausted and sometimes hard to please!

Duck, Duck, Goose!!

On a beautiful day this month we arranged to meet Aunt Aleesa and the kids out at Clackamette Park in Oregon City to feed the ducks. Growing up in Oregon City, this was something I have done several times in my life. I have good memories of fun times. I love being able to take my kids to do fun things, it's even more fun to take them to do things that I have done and the places I have done them. We stoppped and got lunch and ate it at the park. The coty has done a lot to develop this park over the years, much nicer now. After lunch the kids played and kicked the soccer ball around a bit. Before we left, we walked down to the river and fed the ducks, there were more geese there than ducks but out of habit I still refer to it as the "duck pond". I know they are mostly geese and I also know its a river. We brought bread from home and the kids took turns, Aunt Aleesa brought popcorn, they loved that too!

I am trying to keep the kids busy this summer, we are trying to do something fun every week. Inexpensive but fun, that's our goal!

Last Day of School - Field Day!!!

One of the luxuries of having my baby girl be older now is that we can volunteer more at the school and she can entertain herself or participate in what we do while we are there. Last year, I left to NY on the last day of school and missed out on all of the festivities. So this year Maddy and I jumped in with both feet and agreed to hang around and volunteer all day. Grandma Mary was around to help also, we had her go take some pictures while we were working in the kitchen.

Water Balloon tosses, obsticle courses, Tug of War, and lost of freinds and junk food! Happy Summer Vacation!!!
