Victoria turns 9!!

My girl turns 9 today! We celebrated her birthday on Sunday while we had friends and family in town. Cass decorated her cupcakes for us and did a great job! I loved the piano!

Victoria has turned into quite a little lady. I'm not sure if I'm ready to have her be so grown up.

I love you Victoria! We are truly blessed to have you in our family. Thanks for being a wonderful daughter!!!

Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a very busy weekend! We had lots of friends and family over. We went shooting Saturday and Monday so I could shoot my new gun. We BBQ'd a few times and got a lot of stuff done.

On Memorial Day Monday we made sure to go visit Blayne's grandfathers’ grave sites. To honor all who have sacrificed before us. Although we have a day dedicated for this I believe it is important to remember these sacrifices, past and current, every day.

I am thankful to have my husband home. I am truly blessed! I am thankful for and I pray for my friends and family members who have sacrificed and who are currently sacrificing themselves or their loved ones.

What have we been up to?

It's been awhile since my last post. I would love to say I've been busy doing fun and exciting things but nope, just livin life.

Blayne's Dad got a new motorcycle last month. Blayne has been enjoying it greatly. He took the kids and I all out on it. I wish I could say Tori was enjoying it to, but she was not happy. I think Blayne is looking forward to summer so the weather will stay nice longer.

"Uncle" Tony came into town for a visit. He bought all the kids new head phones to go with their iPods and Nintendo DS's. They were so excited. I do have to say I have really enjoyed the quiet too!

Our family has really missed having Tony around since he moved to Utah. We try to spend as much time as possible with him when he comes to visit, which is not often enough. Blayne thoroughly enjoys him, he is just like another brother.

We have been patiently waiting for the summer weather to arrive, just like every other Oregon family I'm sure. So we make sure to enjoy every minute of the sun when it does show up.

So, here's hoping for more sun!!!
