EASTER 2014!

This year we got to celebrate Easter for the first time ever with the Yates' cousins! We are so excited they are home from Japan and out of the Navy! We are looking forward to several more holiday celebrations to come!

Maddy turns 7!

My little miss Maddy turned 7 this month! My baby is growing so big so fast! We are so blessed to have her sweet little spirit in our family. Heavenly Father knew what he was doing! We often get told how much people love her. She has a contagious smile, an awesome belly laugh, and eyes that will drive the boys crazy when she starts dating! (when she's 40)

 

 

We finished the night cutting our boys hair! It was long over due, Mom let them sport a Mohawk for about 5 minutes before the clippers continued clipping!!

March Madness

March was a quick and busy month, and clearly we took very few pictures! We did manage to get a quick visit from Shannon, Lexi, and Owen! We miss them since they moved to Utah! We are also looking forward to Uncle Brenton, Aunt Melissa, Kingston, Chayse, and Beckett coming home from Japan next month!!

February = Ice and Snow Storm

February brought us an awesome ice and snow storm, they even cancelled church. We enjoyed playing in the snow, the dog even enjoyed playing in the snow. We also rescued both sets of Elders, we brought them over fed them and then the kids played Chess with them all day. We took them over dinner several times during this storm since they were told they couldn't go out in it.

There was a lot of laughter, fun, games, memories, and a TON of hot chocolate shared. It's always such a blessing to me during this season, I love when we are forced to stop what we are doing, stop letting life be so overwhelming and just take the time to enjoy one another and to make memories! Not to mention it helps us be prepared for these types of situations also! My kids are growing so fast I love seeing the great spirits they have that are defining the type of children they are becoming.

 

 

 

Pinewood Derby

Gavin participated in his 2nd Pinewood Derby this month. He was able to enter both cars, his one from last year and the new one for this year. He took second place again! He has so much fun doing this, so do Blayne and I. The Stake does a great job making this a fun experience for our Scouts!
