Just when you thought you had it figured out!

So the antibiotics for the bronchitis weren't working on Maddy, and she spiked a fever of 101.3 all weekend long. So I, once again, called the doctors office. "Well, we should definitely take a look at her, why don't you bring her in this morning." Of course you want to see her again, you can't get it right the first time. You need me to pay you again, and then maybe you'll get it right this time. "Well, it looks likes she has pneumonia, we should probably give her a different antibiotic." Of course she does, of course you do. THIS STINKS!!! I am really beginning to hate the doctors office. I am more so really tired have having sick babies!!

On a brighter note, I love my new bed! Although they ripped the fabric when they delivered it so they are getting me a new one, it is so comfortable. Then I went and bought Alex's Cocoa Latte machine and enjoyed some hot cocoa while having a pedicure on Saturday evening. It was Great!!!

So, I guess I will have to make some cocoa, sit in my bed, and cuddle with Maddy until she feels better, Dang it!! :)

The Verdict................

Well the verdict is........BRONCHITIS!! Yay!! I am so excited for that! At least we have an answer, and a prescription. Hopefully it all works, Fast!

When does it go away?

So my poor little kids still have that awful cough. I have had them into the Dr. 3 times already and am going again this morning. I am so tired of having sick babies, and I am just tired in general. It's hard to get a good nights sleep with sickly kids. The Dr. assures me it takes 4-6 weeks to go away, well we have had it for 8. So back to the Dr. we go, I am hoping it is NOT pneumonia.

On a better note, we just got home from spending Valentine's weekend in Bend with Jake and Ashley. It was fun, the boys (Jake, Blayne and Tony) spent all of Saturday at Hoodoo snowboarding then came home and took their Valentine's (and kids) out for a nice dinner. It was nice to have a little vacation and have nothing required of you. That doesn't happen very often so I have to document it when it does!

Spring has started at the Yates house!!

After being lucky enough to get a good deal on some new couches for our family room it all started. We got in the mood to start some spring cleaning. We had to put the couches through the second story window, after of course taking the old ones out it. Then we slept in Saturday morning before having quite a busy day. We took Maddy's crib down then put the bunk beds is the girls room and Gavin now has the queen bed in his room. We cleaned out all the closets and ended up with 5 bags of DI stuff. We ended the weekend by buying all new faucets for the bathrooms and 2 ceiling fans for the master bedroom. We got it all done except the fans, but there is always tomorrow. I only managed to throw out MY back. I have the best husband ever, we got so much done even though we have 3 sick kids. It is great to create a "hunny do" list and actually have it done. Thanks babe!!!!
