Fourth of July!!
Fourth of July is always a busy day for the Yates, sharing it with Blayne's birthday. We are having a big BBQ. Then heading out to the rodeo on Saturday. Boy you can tell you are getting older when your birthday is just another day. Turning thirty next year just is not something we are looking forward to! Happy Birthday Blayne!!

Happy birthday Blayne!! I know what you mean about turning 30... I still have a few years to go but I'm not thrilled either.
Oh yeah.. I forgot to tell you how excited I am that you and Ashley BLOG!! It's so fun to see what everyone is up to. It's an easy way to keep in touch.
Just an FYI for future. When you have a bunch of posts, check out www.blurb.com. They have a "slurper" that turns your blog into a high quality book. SO COOL! I have 2 years worth of posts in hardbound books. It's soooo fun to go back and read posts with photos. It's the best kind of journaling and way cheaper/faster than scrapbooking. Plus you can order multiple copies, one for each kid!

As for turning 30, I almost think 29 was worse because you dread 30 the whole time! But, it's just another number. 40 is looking younger and younger isn't it!
